Abstract
The purpose of this study was to compare of the 15% hydrogen peroxide (HP) and 35% carbamide peroxide (CP) to evaluate the efficacy. Using 36 healthy molars, 36 test pieces were established and divided into three groups each comprised of 12. Group 1 was D. W.; Group 2 15% HP; Group 3 35% CP. The treatment was performed for two hours per day over four weeks. After processing, the test pieces were observed for micro hardness, micro structure, and roughness on the enamel surface with a scanning electron microscope. Paired t-test for data analysis and general linear models were used. The analysis results of micro hardness on the enamel surface show a decrease in micro hardness in all the groups after bleaching. The observations made with a scanning electron microscope and atomic force microscope in order to analyze the test pieces in micro structure on the enamel surface reveal that the surface grew rough due to decalcification after bleaching processing. After using the whitening performed with micro-hardness decreases observed in the enamel surface roughness, because teeth whitening to patients about the side effects that may occur after
the training will be needed to feed.
